Gaston's French American Bistro

We traveled to Gastons's Bistro for lunch in late August 2024. This was our experience. Look and feel: The restaurant was very clean, including the restrooms. It is located at one end of a strip mall. It was quiet inside with maybe two other occupied tables. It is smallish inside with about twice as many tables in the outdoor patio area. Parking and accessibility: There is plenty of parking with some handicap only parking. Service: Service was excellent. It was friendly, and attentive. The staff was patient as we explained our gluten allergy as they suggested what and how dishes could be modified. A Hidden gem in Orland Park! We had a wonderful night out with 10 friends, and we were all graciously received and served. The owner came by to speak with us and thanked us for the business. I had a Gaston salad with shrimp and it was delicious. Portions are very generous- most people took food home with then. Some were so impressed that they took additional meals and homemade tiramisu that was delicious! The outdoor dining area is cozy yet not too crowded with a few couches for relaxed conversation. No alcoholic drinks, but plenty of mocktails .

I catered brunch for my sister's bridal shower on 3/25/23, and the food was amazing! Everyone loved the croissant breakfast sandwiches, potatoes, the chicken bowtie pasta, and pasta Primavera. The fresh fruit trays were beautiful! There was so much food!!Yasser, the chef/owner, is so helpful and accommodating. He made separate GLUTEN free pastas and sandwiches for my 2 cousins with gluten allergies. They loved the gluten free pasta as well! We will definitely order/ cater again in the future! Spotless dining room. We had lunch at about 3pm and it was not busy. Menu offers wide variety from breakfast, sandwiches, salads to entres. Wife had the tuna melt that came with two different melted cheese and I had the hunter's chicken which was too large to finish. Both very good. Reserve uma mesa agora

The eggplant appetizer with goat cheese is unmatched! I had the steak frite for my entree...the most tenderest steak I've ever had. I enjoyed the patio! The owner cared enough to ask about my experience.The earned 5 stars alone. Hidden gem

Mom and I stopped for dinner. It was so lovely! Great options. Food was good. Large entrees. The tiramisu was delicious. My chai tea was so good I’ll probably be back for more tomorrow. Service was wonderful. A new top pick for us.

My husband and I have been going to Gastons for about 23 years. The food is always delicious, the atmosphere is quaint, and the service couldn't be more efficient and friendly. Kudos to the owner!

I eat here all the time but never got catering. We picked it up for Mother’s Day today and man was it good. Just a wonderful place!

Very very clean food. I got the blackened sea bass and it was absolutely delicious
