When we saw there was no OpenTable review for this restaurant, we knew we had to give one. Gastromaquia gave us one of our best meals of the year. We were in Madrid for one night before heading back to the States, looking for a place for dinner. We found this restaurant near our hotel on OpenTable with no other information other than it was nearby. We found the website for the restaurant and were intrigued by the menu and decided to make a reservation. We are so glad we did! After discovering there were no reviews on OpenTable for Gastromaquia, we decided to leave one after experiencing one of the best meals of the year. Visiting Madrid for just one night before returning to the States, we stumbled upon this restaurant near our hotel with little information other than its proximity. I had one of the only best eating experiences of my life here, a wonderful night of the exquisite tapas that brought a fantastic dish after the other. great place, great staff and a great night. I have to go back.
