Gaststaette Waldfrieda

Located just outside Weimar, close to the vineyards, is the small restaurant “Waldfrieda”, which is a family farm. Already from the street, I noticed the magnificent, Mediterranean-styled, small guest garden, which is wonderfully suited to letting the evening relax after exhausting city tours. The friendly hostess was very keen to implement all Corona rules properly. The menu offers mainly Thuringian specialties at affordable prices, but, unlike some restaurants in the city, they are still freshly prepared. A neighbor had recommended us this restaurant and what should I say my expectations were more than exceeded! Even really handmade food and so delicious! The hosts are really nice and you know how they burn for their inn. We're coming back! PS: A party service is offered and smaller family celebrations (about 20 people) are also possible.

My husband accidentally discovered this little boy! Supernette guestmen! Fantastic food and drink rarely eat such a great Roulade with cash and red cabbage! Sosse ! The tomato soup was top! The apple strudel is homemade, a palate mouse! We are coming back!!! LG and Thanks Family Renate Hofmann

A little away and only accidentally discovered. But a little pearl worth a visit. Fantastic food prepared with love and friendly loving staff that meets you with openness. Price performance excellent. We're coming back

Just outside the tourist hectic you will find this small but fine restaurant with friendly service. The food is top and prices more than fair. All in a good evening. Thank you.
