So much to say and so little time. Can with high anticipation for this experience and blew the budget on the evening tasting menu, I didnt get it with wine but optioned instead to mirror the wine pairing and get a few glasses instead along the way. All lovely. The food was impeccable, but as with these things, the portions are delicate rather than generous. I found, despite the 8 or 9 courses, I was still left wanting more. Brand new, fine dining restaurant which only uses local produce foraged ingredients. Run by 3 young, very talented chefs James, a very friendly knowledgeable front of house. Our meal highlights were the Pink Chihuahua cocktail; the sole croquette starter; homemade sourdough bread with honey mustard butter the hot caramel souffle with hazlenuts vanilla butter. Highly recommended.

excellent quality of ingredients, the tasting menu was beautiful from beginning to end. the staff was knowledgeable and helpful. eating was brilliant, book yourself before it's too hard to get a table! wonderful jewel in the middle of dead offers an unforgettable dinning experience through local ingredients.

excellent cooking in a relaxed environment. clever and sometimes surprising combinations skillfully executed. the tasting menus run them through, with wine and other drinks to fit if they want. a real tasty bite. it is worth eating here after dead.

I had the tasting menu and my partner the vegetarian version each with the flight of wines.We have eaten at Gidleigh Park and Lympstone Manor and whilst they are more opulent and the food of high quality I do not believe they compare.with this.
