12am Update: I did contact Doordash on this matter to make it right. Furthermore, why would the order be ready in 5-10 minutes when the order was requested to be ready by 845pm? The order was specifically requested to be ready by 845pm and yet the restaurant neglected to pay attention to what was clearly requested if it was ready a few minutes after it was ordered. Why was the order ready nearly an hour before then? The owner 's argument is severely flawed when I had taken the proper steps by contacting Doordash to make things right. The owner problem should be with Doordash and not with me. One should not accuse someone of playing a game without finding out the full details of what had occu...
George White Restaurant in Syosset. As soon as you walk in you, you feel the cosiness to be here. The owner and manager Frank, is such a warm and friendly person! It ensures that you have an excellent culinary experience. Then there is Katrina the best bartender and my favorite server is Dren, he?s so sweet and friendly! I give them a 5 star. You have to come and experience this amazing restaurant. Joy?
First time eating here for restaurant week. The service was excellent, great atmosphere and good food. We had the regular and short ribs, muscles, carrot cake and cannoli for desert. The food was prepared well however it was missing the wow factor. Nothing overly flavorful or seasoned. I was a bit disappointed but all and all a good dinner and experience.
I visited George White on a date night and must say one of the best restaurants I visited on Long Island! Manhattan quality food away from the crowds and effort to get to the city! Our waiter Dren was very accommodating and very knowledgeable on the menu, recommend some amazing dishes! I will definitely visit George White again in the future!!
