Giant Farmers Market

I've been purchasing some produce at rhis market and seem to be tossing out more than I am able to eat. I believe this place buys their produce on the cusp of becoming bad, and if you don't use it within a couple of days, you need to throw it out. All of the tomatoes I had purchased, needed to be tossed, including the watermelon.I have a great organic indie market in town and quite frankly, I would rather pay a little more to get produce that's fresh, than to get a bargain that needs to be thrown away.

I have been shopping here since it opened Very upset the market has been getting worse the quality is terrible. Poor selection and lots of the produce is about to go bad. Not a bargain anymore rather spend a little more and get flavorful produce at the supermarket . You guys need to pick up your game

Used to love this store. Now shelves are half empty. Many of the vegetables are bad. Picked up several red onions only to find them bad and several flies emerged.Bought ice cream in Sept only to see that it expired in June.Giant doesn't clear out expired items, so be careful.

DO NOT BUY FROM THE FISH MARKET! I GOT OLD SPOILED FISH FOR THE 3RD AND LAST TIME.Great variety of different products. Packaged fruit (raspberries blackberries ect) can be iffy .. half the time it has mold when I bring it home.
