Giuseppe’s Cafe certainly lived up to our expectations. We were a group of 6 out for dinner celebrating. There was a very private and family feel to the restaurant. The food was served hot, fresh and it was well above the average! Waite staff took great care of us and kept our glasses topped off. This is not your typical Italian restaurant nor typical dishes. I think this is a great little Italian place. Service has always been great anytime I've been there and the food is spectacular. I highly recommend it, and it's not overpriced. Wow, an incredible meal! We showed up late in the evening and were served quickly. The Chicken Prosciutto Penne was recommended by our server was amazing. The Giuseppe's Special calzone was also delicious. Just up the street from UAB if you're in town visiting, your taste buds will thank you for visiting here!
