This is a lovely pub! I stopped by for lunch after taking a walk in the area. I really appreciated the thoughtful touch of having shoe covers for walkers at the entrance. The staff are warm and welcoming, and I enjoyed a great lunch at an incredibly reasonable price. I will definitely be back. It's absolutely worth a visit! Price per person: £1–10. Food: 5/5. Some people get sniffy about the great British roast dinner, and it's true, you have to get out there to get one that will knock your socks off, well here at the Globe is the answer, sensational, generous, well presented and a gravy with a rich depth of taste unmatched by anything for miles!! I chose the local pork belly, an absolute joy!! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5

We came for the campsite at the back. It was above expectations. We were here in October with 3 kids in a motorhome. The shower wasn’t working but we had our own in the motorhome. Had a lot of fun having dinner in the pub, kids were playing at the playground or climbing in trees. Very friendly staff. We held our company Christmas celebration in the private dining room upstairs. The food was delicious, and there was an excellent selection on the Christmas menu. The staff were all wonderful and provided outstanding service. I would highly recommend this place. Many thanks to all the staff for a fantastic evening!

I don't have anything good to say about my experience. The service was lacking, and while some parts of the Sunday dinner were tasty, the beef was extremely tough. I won't be coming back. Price per person: £20–30.
