Golden Bear Pancake Crepery Restaurants

Food was ok. Service was good. However, when I got check I noticed I was charged two sales tax. I was taxed 10% on total food cost and another 20% on that total. When I asked why I was being taxed twice I was informed 20% tax was for gratuity. I’m pretty sure State law states any fees and surcharges must be clearly listed before customers dine in or order to go and must be listed as gratuity or service fee on customer bill. Not sure why gratuity was listed as a second sales tax on bill and why this automatic gratuity policy wasn’t displayed anywhere or why we weren’t informed of added gratuity when check was provided to us? My advice check your bill to check if tip has already been included...

I’m giving this place one star only because I had to in order to leave a review. While I was having breakfast, I found a piece of hair in my food. When I showed the manager, instead of apologizing or showing any sympathy, he asked, "What do you want me to do? I see it; I believe you." His rudeness and obnoxious behavior were really disappointing. After we paid the bill, he kept pressuring us about leaving a tip. I would never eat here again; I should have just gone to IHOP. It was definitely not worth it, and I left feeling extremely disappointed.

Best pancake, waffle and crepe selection around. Serving sizes are generous. Strawberry cheesecake pancakes are divine! Omelettes are yummy. Be advised: Fruit cup is mainly melon (not watermelon! Kid friendly!! Food comes to the table fast. ACCESSIBILITY REVIEW: Handicap parking spaces are mere steps from the door. There is a very small alcove with a hard right angle to get into the restaurant. This might be hard in a wheelchair. Tables and booths for seating. Restrooms are individual rooms, not stalls.

Old outdated, smelly carpet, waitress wiped her nose w the back of her hand, and 1 of the sinks doesn't even turn on! The floor is the restroom were dusty, dirty and piled up waste baskets. The food was a big portion but the turkey sausage were old and dry. It needs an upgrade and friendlier staff. Also the menus were dirty. Was halfway into our meal and there was a roach crawling on the wall next to me I told my waitress then she told the owner and he did nothing no sorry or anything I paid $50 for my meal that I didn’t even get to enjoy absolutely disgusting

I just had the chopped steak and eggs, and this was my first time dining here. I highly recommend it to everyone! The food was absolutely fantastic.
