Gorilla Topping Food & Coffee

By the time we were settled in our hotel in Lille, it was too late for lunch at a regular restaurant. So, we were happy to find Gorilla Food Coffee at rue Pierre Mauroy. It’s a friendly place with blonde wood tables and wall panelling, and a large food counter. The menu offers a good choice of light, organic food (soups, salads, pastas, bruschettas, wraps, and desserts). The bruschetta with ricotta and the salad we ordered were both surprisingly tasty. Prices were moderate, and the staff were super friendly.

We went in Lille last week, and we decided to lunch in Gorilla, we ate a Gorilla (A kind of wrap with different bases). For the desserts we took a chocolate cake and a carrot cake, all of them are homemade, and it shows ! We recommend this place !

Amazing place! Great good, great service. I highly recommend. Safe value to kickstart your day in one of the main place of Lille right in front of the the church! Beat place to enjoy your coffee and cookies on the sunny terrace

Delicious and healthy eats at budget prices! We stopped by in a rainy night for dinner and we ordered two combos of risotto with chili and two glasses of wine for less than €20.

Gorilla is a great place for cheap eats in Lille. Right across the street from Eglise Saint Marcel, you can have soup, salad, or wrap with a view.
