Gotthard - Reservar uma mesa

had the opportunity to visit the small town goldenau and lunch in the restaurant gotthard. sonja mauretanien lustenberger have an extraordinary place where their wonderful hospitality and eating is on full display. this is one of the best restaurants in which we had the opportunity to dine during our trip to Switzerland. goldau is just a few minutes from luzern and is located on the foot of mt. rigi, where you can drive the train to the summit.

we chose this restaurant as our lunch for a(n inclement) day on mt. rigi based on the positive reviews. we were very satisfied with the excellent quality of eating and warm welcome. the restaurant is about a minute walk from the railway station Arth-Goldau mt. rigi. it is worthwhile if you want a high-quality lunch! but really pleasant.

This is a family run restaurant for several generations and you can tell by the warm hospitality of Canadian born Sonya and her Swiss husband the setting is very convenient near the station and the gardens create a special oasis. The food is delicious...and I can’t wait to come back for the Autumn local menu!!

the meals we ordered were very good. I liked very much that they can create their own hamburger by taking the desired quantity of ingredients. but what made our visit even better was the staff of the waiter was super nice and attentive. I highly recommend. this place

we stopped at this place for lunch. there is a menu for everyone, just sit, relax and eat. Eat was ok, next time should try something else. it is worth stopping here. a bit expensive, but once in a while it's okay.
