Grand Junction Hotel

My wife and I have traveled to your hotel three times by train from Drouin for day outings and have had three meals, with two bad experiences each time. The first meal was great - I had lamb's fry and bacon, and my wife had a chicken meal. We were both happy and impressed. The next time, I ordered pulled pork on small buns, but it arrived cold. I had to ask for it to be reheated, and the chips were drowned in so much salt that I was too embarrassed to complain again. The salads seemed very nice though. My partner and I treated ourselves to a pub meal because times are tough and chose your hotel on our way from Cockatoo to Newry to help out family. We were pleasantly presented with courteous and friendly staff and went on to have 2 of the roast lamb meals. WOW! Home cooked PERFECTLY and at VERY affordable price. Can't recommend them enough and will be telling everyone of our wonderful experience there. Thank you

During our two-night stay in Traralgon, we decided to dine at this restaurant on both evenings because we were extremely impressed. The seniors meals offered great value and were ideal for us. Other menu items were reasonably priced, as were the drinks. The staff were friendly and attentive, enhancing our dining experience.

Poor average selection of beers on tap. Slow bar service. Ordered lamb cutlets expecting pan fried, but deep fried instead. Saturated in fat. Veges cold and over boiled. Long time waiting for meals too. We were a table of 4. Overall, very underwhelming. Suggest avoiding.

Stopped here for lunch. The dining room was very bust so out meal took a while to arrive but it was worth the wait! My wife enjoyed her Senior's Fish and Chips and I had the Baked Potato Yum!
