poor, main course. it wasn't what I ordered. they said they had nothing of what I ordered, so they decided to bring me something else. they never had informed me or asked me if I was happy with their alternative proposal. not normal and very strange. I didn't want what they brought me and didn't have the main course as a result. then I ordered a dessert that should be warm. in reality it was hardly warm, almost cold. the owner said he checked and said it was warm. he said it wasn't supposed to be hot because there was an ice upstairs and that would melt what I understood. so my dinner consisted of an average starter of beetroot and goatse salat and glass wein. all in all a great disappointme...

We were looking for somewhere for Saturday lunch in the Marais and booked Grandcoeur at short notice. What a great find! Stunning decor looks like a stylishly restored workshop or atelier in a townhouse courtyard. A very friendly welcome and great service and advice...throughout. The restaurant is not cheap but you are paying for excellent quality, and for that it is very good value for money. We both had breast of guinea fowl, beautifully cooked and incredibly succulent. The menu is imaginative and the interesting wine list has a great choice of wines by the glass too. Looking forward to coming back in the summer to enjoy the terrace.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel, so we had high expectations. The ambiance was wonderful, and our server was just the right amount of attentive. Unfortunately, there was only 1 dish we were served (potato leek soup) that was particularly memorable. The...rest of the dishes either lacked depth of flavor, or in the case of the risotto, were too salty. Overall, the food was just ok. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't memorable, and our group felt it was a little expensive for what we ordered. There are many truly exceptional restaurants in Paris, but this isn't one of them.

We had hoped to come here for a nice evening with good food. It turned out very differently. The waiter who served us was very pushy, bothering at rude. We choose our dishes few choices, one was said not to be available but later...guests got it nevertheless… and very quickly received our starter. Very small dishes totally overpriced of poor quality. Shortly after the main dish, fish. Mediocre quality with vegetables not well cooked and cutlery unfit to cut it. After a bit more than an hour we were ready and asked for the bill. What a disappointment.

that's my second visit. my first was in 2019 and I can confirm that the food and service were once again excellent. this restaurant was highly recommended to us in 2019 by a 5-star hotel and it is not disappointed.
