Great Wok of China

First time here yesterday evening Ordered Orange chicken. Quantity was alot well worth the money until I came home it looked great crispy and moist but OMG!!!! Waaaaaaaay to sweet overwhelming amount of sugar, I ate 1/4 cup if that and had to throw away the rest I am not the type to return food but I just don't go back. I don't wright reviews but this was a must. Just TO MUCH SUGAR! No tartness at all no orange flavor at all JUST SUGAR.

I have been coming here for more than 10 years. The food has been the best in the area but I think the new management (as of December) went cheap and didn’t buy the recipe. The house special chicken isnt the same, the breading is different, the special sauce isn’t like crack anymore….. it’s just normal Chinese food. I literally had this place saved in my phone with a heart over it. I want the old management and the old recipes back

I grew up coming to this restaurant with my family. it was some of the best Chinese food in this area you couldn’t find nowhere better and recently there is new management thats very cheap and everything taste like a water down version of what it used to be if the manager move somewhere I beg to know where because the food was so good I don’t know what happened, but can you please go back to what it was!

I've been a regular customer for years. My all-time favorite meal is their shrimp egg fu yung. However, either they have changed chefs or recipe, because the egg fu yung is not the same. There is something missing. They are thinner with no color and taste like eating flour. I'm craving the meal right now, but I won't buy it again unless they go back to their old recipe. The BEST Chinese food in all North County San Diego. I can’t get enough of this place! My husband and I go at least once a week. Portions are HUGE, the service is kind and welcoming, the kitchen always looks SO clean, and the food is truly delicious! 10/10 recommend!

This is the best Chinese food I've ever ate and I miss this restaurant. I now live in New Mexico but I have never found Chinese food as good as this. I got to know the owner and his family when I lived in Oceanside and he was the best cook in the business.

My husband and I really like their orange chicken. I usually ask for extra sauce, and they give it to me. He likes their pot stickers, I usually order the cream cheese wanton. I don't think we have ever been disappointed.

Gentleman working the register is always welcoming and kind. Food is always 10 out of 10. The chow mein is scrumptious as well as the house special beef. The sauce is savory and delicious. Reserve uma mesa agora

Schezwan Beef here is incredible! This now in my top 2 of ALL San Diego. Hidden gem.
