Until couple of years ago we used to eat at this pub fairly frequently but for various reasons had not been for a while. It was, we thought, a pretty reasonable 'pub grub ' place: simple basic meals at a fair price. We were in the area this week and wanted a simple, cheap lunch so called in. Initially we were surprised how few people were there but it was a little late and we thought the lunch rush had gone. The menu seemed more pricy than we recalled but the waitress was friendly and we placed our orders. The food was awful and much of it remained on the plate. I went back to this restaurant over the weekend for a wonderful Sunday roast with my family. The staff was lovely and the food was amazing. They had a great selection of desserts on the menu, but I was too full to try them this time.

Impromptu meal out for the 3 of us. Michelle was really warm and friendly, and genuine. We enjoyed the food including the desserts.

Lovely venue, staff were very friendly. Food was very nice. Great menu choices, something for everyone.
