that was a surprise. we were a group of 17 traveling on a 10-day trip through Germany. in noerdlingen we needed a quick lunch and a break from German food. Instead, what we experienced was a highlight of the whole (already very special travel sorbas is a next-trip to Greece, thanks to yanni's great spirit and thanks to the quality of the kitchen. we felt like we were a family that came for a celebration instead of going through strangers. our only regret was that we were there for lunch and had to stay on a schedule. we envy guests who can spend a long evening in sorbas enjoy all the staves of a wonderful meal. the many good reviews of this restaurant are well deserved. we have been on a Friday without reservation, but they found space in the back room that has two large tables. eating was excellent varied menu all very Greek themes. large, proportionate and very favorable. we had an excellent Greek wine and two very beautiful glasses of ouzo. the owner is always attentive and fun. I would not hesitate to return to this charming restaurant.
we were in villages in the city wall festival and wanted to eat somewhere. we have tried sorbas and what a choice it was. portions are great and the chef comes out and speaks with them (also said he would give more gyros on my teller so that my son could have some. the decor is very tasteful and the prices are good. that's really worth it!
