Grotto Dei Due Ponti

Stumbled over this little restaurant on our way to Milano. I thought my girlfriend was unable to read the map when she led us off the highway through small towns. Unexpectedly we had the best food of our whole vacation here by far. We'll definitely come back when we have to go through the Gotthard tunnel ever again :

We had a pleasant outdoor lunch, I also found vegan and vegetarian alternatives. The staff also spoke Italian and all in all I would go back, prices a little high for us Italians but super generous portions!

A room alone. No cupboards and desk in the room. No prices for food and drinks, which turned out to be pricey. Train next to the location.

A place hidden between two branches of the Ticino river. A very pleasant patio to sit on sunny days. Very good food and service.

Really quiet and beautiful grotto. Food was really good!
