Grotto Pojana - Reservar mesa

We arrived to the restaurant at 13:45 to have lunch. The waiter gave us the menu but then when we were ordering, he told us that no pasta or warm dishes could be served because the cook was closing the kitchen at 14:15. Seems like the waiter was also in a hurry to go home. In such a touristic place it’s so absurd not having more flexible shifts. In this region of Switzerland seems like they are not interested in tourists. We searched for other restaurants and everything was closed. What is it? Too much income to care about tourists or just entering the “siesta” mood?

Somewhat out of the way, however worth the effort. Recent lunch was excellent. Bruschetta with tomato and basil and stuffed zucchini flowers were spectacular. Risotto ai funghi was classic and one of the best I have had. Try the Turriga red wine from Sardinia-also excellent.The restaurant overlooks Lake Lugano and has a small number of outside tables. Inside the tables are typical family style. Excellent parking, which is rare in this area. Overall a wonderful experience.

ALL GREAT! high quality food, the meat melted in the mouth it was so soft, exceptional grotto appetizer and the first courses were delicious! nice and friendly staff! I recommend everyone to go! Hervorragendes Grotto. Tolle Lage, schweizerdeutsch sprechendes und überaus freundliches Personal. Allgemein sehr sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Essen und Weine ausgezeichnet und tolle Auswahl. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen. Reserve uma mesa agora

Sehr guter Grotto, das Essen war ausgezeichnet und man geniesst einen tollen Blick auf den See. Der Kellner war sehr sympatisch und nett und hat auch sehr gute Empfehlungen gegeben. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Sehr feines essen. Vorallem die Gnocchi mit Butter und Salbei. Sehr nette Bedienung die guete Empfehlungen geben und auch auf die Wünsche der Gäste eingehen. Werden bestimmt wieder hingehen.

We went to this pizzaria with a small hunger but stayed for a great meal. Especially the “Buffala” with the fresh tomatoes and buffalacheese is worth a try We will be back! Reserve uma mesa agora

Schön gelegenes Grotto am See. Von Froschschenkel bis Ossobucco Grotto-typische Karte. Preislich eher höherpreisig (für ein Grotto), aber alles in allem eine Empfehlung.
