in advance; this is a beautiful grotto with food of very good quality. The price-performance ratio before the main dishes is therefore ok. However, the overall package is not coherent. The price of CHF 9.50 for one litre of mineral water is a break for a grotto. With a consumption of six people over CHF 420. not even a free Limoncello or Grappa is given. When you order one of the house brand, you are also quite amazed with the account. Apart from the communication problems with the servicing person and the Toast Valle Maggia, which belong to the meat tart, which is never put on the table despite the requests. What a surprise! We loved the food, the roast beef was great, it was cut thin with a delicious sauce. The fillet mignon was cooked for perfection very rarely as I requested. The waiters were very friendly and nice with my children. They even gave them free gelatos that were the best gelatos I ever tasted! Try them strawberry and cream flavor.
Nice place, quite empty on an early Saturday evening in late October (we were alone, only after 8:00 some people came). Kid portion was huge and delicious, our risotto with mushrooms was delicious and very elegant plated. Local wine was fine. I'm sure it must be amazing in summer because the garden looks beautiful.
