Grotto Valmaggese - Reservar uma mesa

Nice food but not sure why it took 40 minutes to bring out some slices of cheese as a starter and this ruined the experience as we were so hangry (hadn’t eaten since 7am, got there at 4pm). I know this isn’t normal lunch time but if you’re going to be serving try to do it well... Also note that despite the water being from the tap and soda streamed, it’s 8 francs per litre (we get that we’re in Switzerland, and I’m all for being environmentally friendly but that’s still a bit cheeky). The polenta with Gorgonzola and risotto were both nice, and I appreciated how polite and friendly the waiter was.

Since with family for lunch, and we had an excellent experience.. all food was amazing. Our daughter loves the fresh pasta and we really enjoy the beef tars and the octopus carpaccio. The main course was also excellent. The outdoor terrace is nice, friendly and well prepared service staff with a great wine recommendation from Maria. Kitchens came to see us at the table and I found it really nice to have an interaction with them. Very recommended if you visit the beautiful Maggia Walley. Grazie mille and see until soon

Food is very good and not too much. For a grotto it may be a bit expensive, but the food is really worth it. The staff is very friendly and pay attention to every table. Wine menu is super interesting my favorite bottle of wine is Argentiera. We are very happy.

Very good service and friendly waiters The homemade pasta was very appreciated by our daughter. We had a spectacular beef fillet.

We hiked down the Vallemaggia and need a refreshment on the Grotto Valmaggese. Friendly service, friendly prices, good location!
