Gut Aiderbichl - Reservar uma mesa

Since I saw the documentary films about “Gut Aiderbichl” and fell in love with their mission and beliefs, I was looking forward to a day of this paradise itself and met not only the beautiful animals with all their history, but also the people behind this concept. The sanctuary is surrounded by a beautiful Bavarian landscape. With the mountains in the distance and the next sea shore only 500 meters away I was at a good start feeling as I finally found a place of great rest between us living beings. Great place that not only serves vegetarian and vegan food, but also a sanctuary for animals living the rest of their lives in peace and comfort, many have been saved from battle or saved from bad conditions - you can read about them in the sanctuary. The animals have the freedom to strip around for the reason that you can walk a goat or sheep to you. It is paradise for the happy animals that make it there. We visited the place to support the awesome work the sanctuary is doing. The food reheated but surprisingly very tasty. We had the pasta (8,95€ and the Schnitzel (9,95€ and some mixed salads (small 6,95€ from the buffet as well. Nevertheless, we as vegans were disappointed that they are still selling so many non-vegan dishes... it seems inconsistent. However, we noticed the reactions of the visiting people and could understand how hard it must be for the owner not to sell meat... but would decide differently.

Beautiful outdoor seating with views of animals and Alps. Self-service restaurant with vegetarian and vegan dishes and cakes. Ask for vegetable milk!
