Strolling down the Rue de Rivoli near the Hôtel de Ville, we got hungry and were trying to find a place where we could eat fairly quickly in the mid-afternoon but where my wife could eat something gluten-free. We turned onto Rue de Renard and briefly went into a busy McDonald's and had little interest in eating there.
