We visited this amazing little restaurant while on a business visit to the Zurich area. About 45 minutes by train from Zurich lies the village of Egg, and this very special restaurant. Part of a working farm with horses, the cosy little restaurant is a haven from the cold. It's warmth is not only from the fire and the scrumptious food but also the overwhelming hospitality of the hosts. Cordon Bleu is the speciality, served about 10 different ways and was simply superb. Do yourself a favour when in Zurich...visit Egg and Einsiedeln and this gem of a restaurant.
