Half Moon - Reservar uma mesa

this was our time to stay in the half moon, but unfortunately we will not stay again. the hotel is in a beautiful location and we ate there a night and the food and service this evening were ok. but we had breakfast on Saturday morning, but had to wait minutes for our meals. we were in the room the bathroom was dirty with hair in it. we couldn't have an internet connection with the hotels WiFi.Our friends were in the room next to us (room they had no problem with the wlan, but had same problems with the cleanliness of the bathroom. from earlier visits we felt that the hotel standards had fallen.

The service was okay and the food was mediocre at best. We came here for Sunday lunch and were disappointed when part of our meal was not available. Instead of offering a suitable alternative, we were given something that was already included in our meal. To make matters worse, the table next to us arrived and ordered after us, yet their meal included the supposedly unavailable food item. The staff did not apologize or acknowledge the mistake, despite noticing it. The turkey tasted like pre-packaged meat, with an extremely watery and tasteless flavor.

I was on the half moon, but only for summer drinks at the river. had a nice meal tonight, the most beautiful meal for a very long time. will definitely try something else again next time.

The food here is amazing!! Never had such a good meal before! We are out of the area, visiting with family but will definitely be returning. Faultless! Try the garlic prawns!

A lovely pub on the river with lovely food, good service, loads of parking, lots of seating both indoors and out, and great views
