Halfway House - Reservar uma mesa

Popped in here yesterday after a long drive home from up north. Pub was fairly busy. I went around the side of the bar by the hatch so I could see what was in the fridge. I waited patiently and was largely preoccupied by their...adorable springer spaniel. A lady then came over to help me a senior looking member of the team (in her 50s). As she did so, she acknowledged a couple on the main face of the bar (who turned up well after me) saying i'll be with you in a minute I asked her about what beers they had and wanted help picking something nice and non-alcoholic for my pregnant wife. We VERY briefly talked through options and again, whilst doing so she acknowledged the couple at the bar sayi...

First take away visit to the Halfway House and would highly recommend. When collecting I was greeted and made to feel welcome. The roast dinners were very well cooked; tasty, plentiful and offer a good choice of meats and vegetables. Good choice of desserts and...I thoroughly enjoyed the Banoffee pie. Excellent value for money.

We have visited this lovely, cozy pub with great, well laid out, patio and garden space. Popped in on the off chance yesterday and it was the same high quality, excellent service and very cheerful happy staff, where nothing was too much trouble. Well worth...a visit.

The best Roast Turkey dinner I’ve eaten in a pub ever! Always a friendly welcome. Several visits over the last year and can’t fault any of them.

we had the booze. it was very good, beautiful and hot. the staff was very friendly. beautiful atmosphere. we will go back
