Hamasaku - Reservar mesa

Lunch for two included the Deluxe Moriawase, Sunset Roll, and Soba Salad. While the Soba Salad was a bit small for the price, it was absolutely delicious. The miso soup and salad that accompanied the Moriawase were excellent as well. The sushi itself was fantastic, and the Spicy Toro Hand Roll was quite good. The only dish we didn't enjoy was the Sunset Roll; the wasabi crème fraiche and smoked roe didn’t enhance the flavor of what was essentially an overpriced, standard salmon roll with just two gimmicky toppings. Usually a sushi restaurant concentrates on creating a culinary experience based on nigiri and sashimi at the expense of providing a variety of food options. Hamasaku is one of those rare exceptions where the sushi is extremely fresh and delicious while the menu offers everything from yellowtail Kama to shishito peppers and krispy rice. Hamasaku sits in a strip mall next to a Carvel's ice cream shop so if you don't like any of the deserts at Hamasaku (the Yuzu cheescake is worth ordering), you can grab a scoop next door.

Located in a strip mall, this restaurant has a somewhat concealed wooden door leading inside, but it’s clearly a popular spot. We arrived early and waited with about 15 others for them to open at noon. The food was amazing, and you can tell they put a lot of care into every detail. The menu is fantastic too.

Everything was fantastic! I had all 4 of the mackerel they had in stock, and it was the best I have ever had state side. The nigiri doesn't come with Wasabi underneath it. The miso was good, and the Hamasaku roll was fantastic! Loved the feel and vibe. Very good place to go for lunch or a date. Reserve uma mesa agora

The best omakase experience! Parking at the lot is free for the first 45 minutes with validation, and then it's $2 for every 20 minutes, capping at $12. While Hamasaku doesn’t validate parking, the parking attendant was so kind that he didn’t charge for the initial 45 minutes.

We visited Grandmakase, and it was a male chef there. While there was a standout dish in each course, nothing really wowed us. It felt more like a set menu experience than a true omakase.

The sushi at this restaurant is outstanding. I visited on a Saturday night, and it wasn't too crowded. We ordered a few nigiris, two rolls, and two appetizers, and it was excellent.

Lively place, plenty of choices on the menu. Friendly service but indifferent. Parking was a problem. Very crowded lot. One very harassed valet.

Great food, great atmosphere, even though it’s a bit pricey, but the foods are very fresh.
