Hank's Oyster Bar - Dupont

Always good never disappoints. Great wines. Told waitress we had tickets for an 8 pm show and she made sure our food came at in a timely manner. Weather was great for sitting on the patio. Only trouble is finding a parking space in the area, we were almost 20” minutes for our reservation.

Food was lousy. You’d expect fresh oysters and clams to taste fresh, but nope. Had a bad clam. Crab cakes were mushy. Lots of gnats inside. Crowded dining area. Server was nice, but service was slow.

not many options if you don't eat shellfish. One in our party ordered the meat special and was disappointed that it was tough--and expensive. Crab cakes and fish tacos delicious.

Energetic atmosphere, with hospitable hostesses and waiters, good selection of drinks made for the best Oyster lover dining; even for our party of eight!

Veal chop was expensive. Veal chop was tough! Veal chop was quite simply awful! Oddly the appetizers were quite good.
