HANOI Asian Bistro

I've eaten here for lunch and since it was a nice day, I decided to dine at the sidewalk seat. There are several walking tables, all covered by large parasols. The interior is usually white walls with wooden tables and chairs. Hanoi Asian Bistro is located outside a main road so you can hear some of these traffic noises, but not enough to interrupt conversation or your culinary experience. Decided to try this restaurant when we were searching for a better priced lunch. We were greeted with a friendly smile immediately upon entering. I must mention this because service is almost non existent in this town. The food was fresh and very tasteful. We have been to Asia and have very high expectations for how Asian foods should taste. We were in three and started with a soup and followed with 3 different main dishes. None of the foods disappointed. All were fantastic. We added some extra spice ourselves, but restaurants usually tone down the spiciness for their customers; we like it hot to bring out the flavors. We couldn't have a table in a Bangkok restaurant nearby, so we went for Hanoi for us it's a classic away where you can eat. The food is freshly prepared, but nothing very special. There is a lot on a menu, but I can't judge whether the dishes really vary that much. We liked soups most. Prices are sufficient. The service was good for us, but as people came in, it became slower and slower, that could be a problem if you just want a quick meal.

Good walk from the city and over the big street to find this excellent restaurant. In addition to Magic Mount climbing accessories you can eat very well here and plan a climbing expedition to Vietnam!

I was a couple of times in Hanoi The food has always been delicious and a good value for money The portions are generous and the service good The ambience is ok for a takeaway restaurant.
