Hans im Glück - Reservar uma mesa

I walked into this place without even knowing that there are lots of Hans im Glück restaurants all over Germany and how can one know if the place looks that nice. Not like other franchise burger place thinking about the one with the big M or the BK location. You walk in here and it feels familiar some how. Wooden trees everywhere and if you keep looking you find other small things which make this place... SPECIAL. When you receive the menu, the first you notice is the fairy-tale book style which so represent this location. And this continues with the food. The taste of the burger I had was great and the fries as well. Okay, some might say that the seats are uncomfortable and tables are small...

I have been to a few of their branches in town and it's pretty good. It's the gourmet burger joint in town with vegan and vegetarian options that are quite extensive. The things I love here are the sweet potato fries (divine and some of their sauces are delicious, for the mass produced variety. I also like their burgers however the topping choice could be better. The bread here is ok and not my favourite for a burger bun and you also have the option to have your burger without the bun if you so choose. Stopped in for drinks and light dinner. Had a forest atmosphere with birch tree trunks with greenery decor. The drinks were delicious. They have a variety of fruity varieties which are delightful. Something for everyone. Beer too! See drink menu. On the other hand, their fresh made potato chips were heavily oil laden. Not enticing at all. Probably need to dump that oil and use a fresh batch. Vegetarian nuggets were ok, nothing exceptional. More likely to return for drinks and not much else.

I have been sitting here for almost two hours. Have only been approached once. Employees have taken shots behind the bar, taken selfies and are eating the garnishes. The employees have also spent a lot of time in the kitchen, giving me plenty of opportunities to just walk out without paying. I've also been a sitting with empty glasses for 10 minutes, while making full eye contact with employees.... I'm thirsty... I do not recommend this place. My burger was good but the service is terrible.

Loved it. Just happened upon.this place for an early lunch. Our server was a delightful young woman. The food here is clean, bio /organic and well prepared, salads and burgers, white or sweet potato fries. We.got the lunch burger meal which came with drinks and side we were out of there for under 30 euros and well.fed
