Happy Boil Seafood House

I went to this restaurant on its first day open. I was disappointed with the service I received.I ordered the boiled seafood with different flavors. The seafood is fresh. But I can't tell the difference between flavors. Also, it is a bit pricy compared to the other similar boiled seafood restaurant.The owner is a bit defensive. When I asked for making the fried rice with brown rice, I was asked to pay an additional fee which is fine for me. The owner kept emphasizing the restaurant gave more than I paid for. And when I noticed some sides (potato, corns) were missing, the owner emphasized again the food they offered was way more than expected.

I have to say this is a nice and clean restaurant and the staff here is really friendly and super nice. But first, the seafood maybe a little pricey for its flavor and texture. But the seafood is fresh and have enough lbs.But the things I really don’t like is its seafood boiler flavor. The house special sauce is not good enough and I ordered an extra cup of sauce of extra hot and it is not thick ones, it is like water soup, so it would be hard for me to dip the seafood into the sauce. The flavor is not strong and I think it could be improvedBut I believe they have great fried foods because all the other great comments.

Stopped into this new restaurant recently for dinner. Being from New Orleans I'm not thrilled generally with the boiled seafood in a bag craze since it's just not authentic. Thankfully the hostess mentioned we could have our boiled seafood in a bowl which made a big difference. The seafood quality is high and the preparation is great. We also tried the fried catfish and shrimp basket and it was delish.

Looking over yelp for seafood restaurant and found this on Mercer island by accident. Great deep-fried menu but don't worry, the batter is super thin and not oily at all. They also have a menu for various seafood boil thrown on the table. Looks really good but we're gonna do it next time. No disappointment here , they will get plenty of our business.

Arrived about 5P, place was getting busy. They have about 8 tables of 4-top. We ordered Fries Oyster Basket (F5), Fried Catfish and Shrimp basket (F6), and Soft Shell Crab. All our food was lightly coated, good portion, and amazing.
