Hap's Pit Barbecue Restaurant

We went here over the weekend. Starving and craving BBQ, we randomly chose it based on location to freeway. We all got the pulled pork and it was probably one of the best I have ever had. (I have had a lot of pulled pork in my life). VERY big portion of meet, spilling over, soaking the bun. That kind of multi-napkin sandwich. BBQ is more of the traditional saucy type, vinegar base...slightly sweet. Perfect spices. They beans were great...cornbread was okay. If you are looking for a new spot near the airport...you will not be disappointed. They have a lot of take home larger portion options too. Saw a couple walk out with a rack of ribs. Anyhow...give it a go, was delicious.

I wanted to like this place because I live so close, but it's just not good. It's $15 for a mediocre brisket sandwich that doesn't fill you up. I bought the twenty something dollar rib dinner once and there was not a lot of food for that much money. I got the 6.99 burger that's on their sign out front and it ended up being 12 bucks. It was so gross, I could taste the gristle peices stuck from the grill. It's just not good and it's really expensive.

Today was my first time eating here I most definitely will be back!! I ordered the pulled pork chicken my side was the garlic mashed potatoes with a piece of corn of cornbread . Everything was extremely delicious , and had FLAVOR!! I LOVE THE PULLED CHICKEN! The owner was also extremely friendly welcoming when I entered.

This place was horrible. Burger special $8 comes with NO FRIES NO DRINK. GOT TO PAY EXTRA FOR CHEESE. You can't get lettuce or tomato either. There suggestion get coleslaw on it for an extra $1.50-$2. Burger was small and dry AF. AC was broke felt like a swamp inside

10/10 if you’re a person who’s picky about your pork beef sandwiches this is a place to go no one can make there food as good at this place the spicy hot dog peach cobble so good they’re so nice
