I had higher hopes than delivered to me at this restaurant. I noticed on the website they had gluten free options and I thought I would give it a shot. The atmosphere is okay, but the restaurant was so loud I couldn 't hear the people sitting at the same table which got annoying. The gluten free items available on the menu included chicken wings, one other appetizer, liver and onions, or a hamburger... this was extremely disappointing for gluten free availability as stated on their website. I opted for the burger which was a little dry but not bad. Our waitress came by the table to take our drink order, take our food order, then never again. So we had to ask another waiter for our bill. Would give 4.5 stars if I could. Lovely family-friendly restaurant in the heart of a large, beautiful park with camping sites, walking trails, and multiple childrens' playgrounds. Menu isn't huge, but certainly offers enough choice, and the food is nicely prepared and presented by extra-friendly wait staff. Prices are very reasonable, and the setting is gorgeous, whether summer or winter, making this a must-do attraction and dining experience. Excellent home cooking!! Food is always delicious. Services are friendly and helpful. Service is sometimes a bit slow but food well worth waiting for. Love the park atmosphere. One of Owen Sounds hidden gems!!
