Haus Germania - Reservar uma mesa

This is both a restaurant and a hotel. My experience is mainly with the restaurant. Erftstadt is not really such a big town and it is blessed with one of the most excellent restaurants that you may find. The restaurant itself is a show-case in itself with fabouluos decor. The food is excellent and could not be better. The portions are very generous, almost american size. The waiters are very friendly and quick and the same goes for the kitchen. You have hardly time to finish your salad before the main course appears. I do recommend this restaurant for its ambience, food and personell.

We have stayed here quite often when visiting fairs in Cologne. The rooms are well planned clean and simple with excellent showers and a good breakfast. The small town has excellent commuting features for travel into Cologne which is also a benefit.But the restaurant is the best thing a with a variety of well prepared dishes complemented by friendly and efficient service. Never fails to live up to expectations. Look forward to going back again later this year

Haus Germania is a restaurant that you should not miss when in the area. I have been there many times and the same thing is being repeated. Absolute excellent service. Absolute excellent food. Food arrives at your table very quick. Frankly if the people of Guide Michelin would ever wander around to this restaurant they would no doubt give it one star for excellence.It is well worth a detour.

I have visited the restaurant many times and the food they serve is excellent which can be shown by the fact that the restaurant is always booked full and it is very difficult to get a table.This time however, I only stayed one night at the Hotel in the same building. The room is traditional style which you will find in many places in Germany. You sleep well and that is the important thing.

If you like first of all dishes with meat you will like the menue. As the picture shows there is a lot of meat with rice and French fries on your plate. You can help yourself to a selection of lettuces, tomatoes etc. at a "Salat Bar". The beverage offers different brands of beer, wine etc. You will like the service because the owner and his family are always present.
