Wer ein feudales Restaurant erwartet, wird enttäuscht. Dies ist eine Kneipe, wie sie sein soll. Mit Stammgästen, freundlicher Bedienung und genial günstigen Getränken. Dazu gibt es eine Küche; die Speisen sind gut und sehr preiswert. Donnerstags gibt es Mettbrötchen, sehr zu empfehlen. Der größte Nachteil des Lokals ist, dass geraucht wird. Aber da soll ja demnächst ein neues Gesetz helfen… Also, wer Lust auf ein leckeres Bier, Kontakt zu Eingeborenen und gute Hausmannskost hat, der wird nicht enttäuscht.

On the way from Aachen to Geilenkirchen looking for something interesting. In Kohlscheid-Klinkheide then the big surprise. Great praise in the kitchen. The lamb fillet was simply top class, like the grill plate. Pre-soup, supplements and service: all perfect. Prices absolutely cheap. We look forward to the next visit. lg Ralf and Astrid
