We always like to take a hike along the Wupper in Haus Rüden and feel like on holiday. In the beer garden with its beautiful old trees you sit very cozy and the food is very well tasted. Among other things, it is recommended to use the pork puff with monasteries and the muzzles on lentil vegetables with salad plate. The chicken fillet with apple walnut salad and 2 potato cringles is a very low calorie dish. In view of this and the proud price of 15,00 Euro, the portion is likely to be larger .... We were always very happy to be there.But after a change of ownership we were very disappointed. My wife had a sniper cake with salad, this sniper cake came from the same pan as the blueberry pancake.Rest of blueberries on the bottom of the cake and on the plate were clearly recognizable. We've been going back to the house of Rüden since mid 2022. We were here for four on the weekend. The last times we have eaten: Zander (white, delicate, delicious, plentiful portion), Sülze, Schnitzel, Champignon pancake with salad, but also sometimes waffles with rice everything as always very tasty and regional! No 0815, as unfortunately so often these days. The service is friendly and fast. In the summer it is even better because the house of Rüden probably has the most beautiful garden wide and offers sufficient protection from excessive sunlight. Have not managed to be served within 30 minutes. An operation was responsible for ordering the entire beer garden. It's been over several times. Ultimately overwhelmed....we finally left. Conclusion: Haus Rüden will not see us again!
