Havana Central Menlo Park Mall

First time visit, this is a beautiful restaurant, the theme fits the name. Our visit on a Friday happened to have a live Latin band. There was no wait time for a table. The music is not crazy loud, we had a comfortable conversation at our table while the band was playing. After we are seated by the host, I will note service is a bit slow maybe just the particular day. Decided to stop by here on a Wednesday night after going to the mall, and we were so glad we did! The place was pretty empty, and we made it to happy hour (M F 4 7pm), which was fantastic! We ordered margaritas and sangria for $7 and empanadas are half priced (around $1.75 ea) which were super delicious. I loved the food (very authentic Cuban we ordered pernil, frijoles, arroz amarillo, tostones, vaca frita) and our server/ bartender was really nice and attentive. The interior was my favorite, who doesn't love palm trees?! It literally felt like we were in a restaurant on an island. I highly recommend going here!

We were able to make reservations same day , and when we arrived we asked for a booth instead of the high top we reserved. The manager quickly accommodated us to a cute round booth. The menu had many great options, we ordered a trio of empanadas, a classic Cuban and a mango Salmon with a side of sweet plantains and finished it off with tres leche dessert!!! The Food was amazing and the Service was Great!!! We would highly recommend this restaurant for date night, birthday party, any type of celebration or just because

Great ambiance. Live music Thursdays and Fridays. Beautifully decorated. Food is delicious and love that they had Valentine Day specials, such as a Prix Fixed menu, special backdrops for picture perfect moments and petals on the tables. Unfortunately they ran out of the ribs and didn’t let us know until last minute after everyone else’s food came out but other than that everything was great and our waiter and manager were quick to fix the problem. Recommend the sampler and drink flight!

I went to eat dinner with my husband and the vibe is cute, music is great. Staff is friendly and very helpful. The drinks are amazing food is good, nice portions. We had a great time over all and will absolutely be returning.
