Haywood Smokehouse

We've kind of been avoiding Haywood's because the quality of the brisket just hasnt been good the past couple times but we ordered dinner tonight because we were craving brisket. It was terrible. It's just gotten worse. The brisket was like leather couldn't even be chewed. There was absolutely no moisture at all, it was just so dry. It wasn't falling apart, it was crumbling because it was so dry. Really disappointing. Putting BBQ sauce on it didn't even help, still dry.The sides were good at least edible, I had Mac n cheese collards. Both had good flavor I was able to eat those.I think we will be avoiding Haywood's from now on trying to find a new spot for BBQ.

I usually use my own offset smoker, but today I went to Haywood's in Franklin, NC, with some friends. I tried the brisket and was blown away by how delicious it was—definitely the best I've ever had. It had the perfect bark, and it was incredibly tender and juicy. The sides of slaw and greens complemented the meal perfectly. Our server, Candice, was friendly and attentive, making sure we were satisfied with our choices. The prices were also reasonable for the quality we received. Without a doubt, Haywood's will be our go-to spot in Franklin!

Here are our highlights: **Ribs**: They were flavorful, smoky, tender, and the dry rub was amazing! **Turkey**: Smoky, flavorful, really juicy, and super tender. **Mac and Cheese**: Creamy, cheesy, and packed with pepper and flavor! **Collard Greens**: Wow! Full of delicious bacon flavor and very tender, without any bitterness. For dessert, we tried the pecan pie. It was tasty, but overpriced and served in a really small portion, so I would recommend skipping dessert. **Service**: We dined in.

We just happened into this sauce while traveling. The brisket was so flavorful, delicious and moist I really didn't want to put any of the great sauces available. The ribs were the same. Both had a nice bark with great flavor. We ordered just meat due to keto diet. 1 full rack and 1lb brisket. We took home a half rack for a meal the next day. There is a nice selection of beer from local breweries as well as domestic beers. The sides looked and sounded wonderful. There is also berry cobbler on menu. Reserve uma mesa agora

Wonderful service and the best ribs I have eaten in a long time! The potato salad does have a unique flavor, maybe dill, but it was tasty. My husband was happy they had a hot turkey club. I had a decent meal at the restaurant, but my chicken was undercooked. Despite that, I still tipped the waitress $10 on a $35 bill because it wasn't her fault. They told her to explain that the chicken was smoked, which might have led to the confusion. So, I recommend avoiding the chicken.

I have been to Dilsboro and it his location several times. I prefer this location. The food is always very good! The Brisket and Mac and cheese are delicious. Also, thank you for offering smaller portions instead of calling them kids meals. Reserve uma mesa agora

Really good beef brisket!!! The collards are amazing! My instructor had brought me here for lunch and it was amazing!! The service was nice. Next time, I'm there I'll get the 2 meat combo for sure and I'll bring friends.
