Absolutely delicious you can taste the passion in every pastry. We sampled a bunch of items over the course of a couple days on the island. The macarons we’re delicious and we’re different every day. We also had an eclair, the chocolate so rich...and sweet and more custard filling than I had thought possible. We tried cookies and they were so flavorful and tasted like grandmas. Everything tastes like home made treats made with love. Just go, don’t waste time and make sure it is early in the day to get the widest range of choices.

Glorious Cakes! Go Here! Been to Magdelen Islands 2 years in a row and once again, we ordered a specialty birthday cake from here it was incredible. First- the appearance, had everyone in complete amazement of it it’s artistic beauty, then the taste was...so fresh tasty, we almost ordered up a second cake for a few days later. So worth it, a piece of food art, splurge if you get the chance. Until next time, thanks again for making a special occasion even more special. We can't wait to go again on our next trip to the Islands...

This is by far the best pastry we have ever tasted, not just on the island but in all of Quebec! This bakery is only open 3 days a week (at least in September), so make sure to grab a slot and don't miss out. The wait is definitely worth it as the pastries are deliciously moist. As French speakers, our standards for bakeries are quite high, but the quality and taste of this local bakery's products are simply outstanding!

Offers a beautiful array of pastries, pies and other baked goods, freshly made on the premises. It smells of fresh butter and sugar and vanilla, and you can see the bakers working in the production area behind the display. There is no seating inside. A local told us about this place, so we decided to try it out! WOW! Everything was absolutely delicious (out of our 7 days on the island, we came here 6 days)! Cute decor, very friendly and helpful staff! Definitely worth the stop! You won’t...be disappointed!

I have tried several chefs on the island, but I must say that Helene's Bakery was the best. It is worth the wait as there is always a line outside. They offer a variety of pastries, and I would highly recommend it.

helene makes really tasty tasty! nice that we were past a visit on the island. we tried a lot of baked strawberry rhubarb pee, canelé, scones, macaroons etc....and they were all so delicious.

This place is popular and we can see why! We had an assortment of pastries, cookies, and pies and they did not disappoint! Do stop in for a taste!

The shop is adorable, and the pastries are delicious (we had eclairs and cookies). The staff were helpful and friendly.
