If we could give this place six stars, we absolutely would! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, providing efficient and straightforward service. It's a dog-friendly restaurant in a fantastic location, surrounded by beautiful scenery both inside and out. The highlight, however, was the exceptional quality of the food. Our group of four each ordered something different, and every single meal was outstanding. The presentation was fantastic, and the menu offered a wonderful variety. We traveled 80 miles to visit Galashiels for the day and decided to stop here for Sunday lunch. We would gladly make that 80-mile drive again, purely to dine at Herges on the Loch—it was that enjoyable! F...

I recently enjoyed a family dinner here just before Christmas, and we had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly, and the overall atmosphere was fantastic. Unfortunately, they didn't serve pizza for lunch, which was a bit odd, but the kids were able to find other options. The pizza was truly delightful! The location is beautiful, right next to a golf course, and we enjoyed a nice walk around it to burn off our meal afterward. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return!

very nice restaurant in the Scottish border. when they sit on the window, they enjoy the idyllic scenario of the pond with the ducks and swans. the service is amazing with smiling faces all the time. also fast and committed. they have a good eating option with a selection of fish and meat to pizzas and pasta. they have a beautiful deck where they can enjoy their dinner or drink in a beautiful summer evening. highly recommended!

A beautifully charming restaurant in a hidden spot. The menu is fantastic, with definitely something for everyone. The food is fresh and incredibly tasty. The staff is excellent and made us feel completely welcome. Whenever we're in the area, we always make sure to stop by. Absolutely brilliant!

faster service with a smile. delicious coffee. beautiful interieur on the side of a loch with a winey fountain and swan, delightful. salat was delicious.
