Hermanos Alba - Reservar uma mesa

Hermanos Alba, in the small town of El Palo has a great reputation for fish, particular 'a La Sal ' so I really looked forward to Lubina (Sea Bass). I wasn 't disappointed the fish was perfect! Unfortunately my wife June (not a fish lover) chose Pork Fillet which was burnt, tough as old boots and completely inedible. It went back and we were offered another meal for her but she 'd had enough. Lesson learnt is if you 're great at one thing don 't diversify! The wine was lovely, and the service was very good; they even went out of their way to find me a smaller sea bass so I could have the meal 'for one ' (usually for two). we will go back next time we 're in Malaga but might feed June before...

I took my hosts ut to dinner and they chose this place for it's seafood. Across the street from a seaside park in a residential neighbrhood, it wasn't too crowded as it was springtime. We had boqurones and also anchovies on baby lettuce (cogoles) for apetizers, Quite good. Then we had 3 seafood dishes a la plancha, large squid and swordfish and something else which we shared. Washed that down with a bottle of verdejo which was just right. I don't usually ave desert but their cream filled pastry looked good. I went for it and was happy I did. Lots of good restaurants and ths is certainy ne of the etter ones

We were looking forward to visiting this restaurant as had been recommended it a few times. We arrived I had to order my water 4 times, they brought the wine and beer and just forgot my water. The waiters seemed bored almost irritated to be working. We had a bottle of white wine on the table without an ice bucket and had to request an once bucket from an empty table. The place was empty but I waited for my tuna tartare 20 mins only to find out they had only put through one when we asked for 2. Food was good but not exceptional. Won’t be coming back.

Although we arrived late and the restaurant was supposed to close for Siesta! they accepted to serve us! We ordered a mixed salad and a Lobster Paella for two. The salad was very fresh and the Lobster was delicious, we definitely recommend it.

A really excelent Restaurant for anything coming out of the sea. We had a fabylesy Evening with 8 Persons
