Heuriger Haferkast'n

For those travelers in a hurry or not able to search for other Heuriger Inns, this is a good and simple example of this variety of restaurant to try. For those who are not familiar with Heuriger, these inns are attached to a vineyard where the owner offers light meals and wine. The guests often sit at tables with other guests as the place is limited. It offers plenty of parking and is located along the main road outside the village of Emmersdorf, which is easy to stop and enjoy a meal. I have included some pictures of the menu, as this offers a better idea of what is offered and at what price. We were along the road in the Landhotel Wacau, but decided to eat here for a change in the landscape. Good delicious Austrian cuisine, pleasant and efficient service and all at a reasonable price
