We have ordered many times from Hibachi and over time the service has become less, the quality of the food less and the accuracy of the orders deplorable all the while the prices have increased and increased. There is also a hidden mandatory 15% gratuity added automatically. I went to this restaurant for a friend's birthday and was extremely impressed. The food quality was top-notch. Everything from the sauces to the cocktails was delicious and reasonably priced. The Salmon and steak dishes were both flavorful and tender. The chef put on a entertaining show that had us all laughing, including trying to fling food into our mouths (although he wasn't very accurate) and creating 3-foot flames on the flat top grill. I used to be a regular customer at this restaurant, especially for takeout orders. After not ordering for a few months, I decided to get takeout today and was extremely disappointed with the quality and portion size of the food. The tempura was burnt and seemed to have been refried multiple times, likely leftover from previous days. The taste was awful and most of the items seemed to have significantly less quantity. I was so frustrated and disappointed that I have decided to remove this restaurant from my list of places to eat.

The food was incredible and the service was excellent. There are plenty of choices to choose from. I highly recommend this restaurant for a fun outing with friends and family.

One of the best hibachis in GTA. Service and “show” is good. Best dipping sauce and good selection of hibachi options. Parking easy. Convenient location in Oakville.
