What a charming Polish restaurant! The authenticity of the place is impressive. We were probably the only guests who didn’t speak Polish, but the staff was fluent in English, so we had no difficulties at all. In one corner, there was a lively traditional band, and a festive party happening in a neighboring room. The atmosphere was vibrant and full of life. Despite it being a Sunday evening, the restaurant was quite busy (we sat at the bar, which worked out well for us), but the service was prompt and the food was exceptional. From the bread and appetizers to the homemade lemon vodka shot to finish, everything was delightful. I can't wait to return soon and often! I just wish I had discovered...

We ate here last night and I highly recommend this restaurant. Everything was perfect!! Ambiance perfect! service-Perfect!! Food was absolutely fantastic. You literally feel as though you are sitting in a Polish restaurant and all the servers wear traditional clothing and I can’t find words enough to express how top notch authentic the Polish food was!! If you eat here you will not be disappointed and you will want to go back! I came to Chicago 2 years ago from Massachusetts and this is by far my favorite restaurant since I’ve been here. I can’t wait to go back. The lemon vodka was a wonderful way to end our meal ! There were 4 of us and everyone was so pleased!! Thank you !!!

I have a passion for Polish cuisine and have been eager to try it for quite some time. Everything was fantastic! I ordered a European dish featuring a choice of meatballs in either red or mushroom sauce and opted for the mushroom sauce along with a cabbage roll. The meal also included cheese and potato pierogi, potato pancakes, and grilled sausage served on a generous bed of sauerkraut. The servers were dressed in traditional Polish attire, which added a charming touch. We're currently enjoying our meal, and the restaurant has filled up quickly, leading to a bit of a wait. The service has been very friendly. I will definitely return to sample more dishes!

A very typical Highlander restaurant in both atmosphere and decor. The service was quick and servers polite. Typical Polish food with Highlander accents. Rich menu. I ordered the grilled chicken breast with tomatoes and mozzarella. It was really delicious . The meat was moist and the vegetables were in a Chardonnay sauce. Kwasnica soup was also delicious. First time there and it was an awesome experience. The food was absolutely delicious. The portion sizes were just right. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. The prices were quite reasonable for what you're getting. I will definitely be back and I recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly.

The food here is delicious and authentically Polish. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is fantastic. I recommend either seeking out a cozy dining experience or just relaxing at the bar with their $9 liters of beer.

Amazing polishing experience! Loved the food and the atmosphere was great! There is no other restaurant like this nearby and I loved every moment of my visit! Will come back to taste more delicious food!

My family and I have been here several times now. We drive 62 miles North just for this restaurant. No matter what we order, it is aways delicious. Very highly recommend Highlander. Bring your appetite! Reserve uma mesa agora
