Highlands Cafe - Reservar uma mesa

Wonderful, wonderful all the way around. I'm new to Wauwatosa and read a great review of the Highlands in The Shepherd so I decided to check it out. What a terrific experience in every way. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing prompt service and thoughtfully responding to needs throughout the meal. The vibe of the whole place is lovely and fun: it seems to be a local place, with regular customers who are greeted by the staff as well as a destination place for those who want an excellent meal at a terrific price. The food is yummy: breakfast poached eggs (perfectly done) and toast for $2.99? What a deal! The omelets are fluffy and huge, loaded with whatever the daily special is....r...

Terrible customer Service. The waitress who took my order had an attitude problem! All I asked her was to give me my bill early and she couldn't even help herself to understand the concept of customer service. She must live in a world where the waitress is suppose to get waitress service while the customer is suppose to humor the waitress dish out the $. Wow! I was very disappointed. Customer Service appeal to the customer/serve the customer...not the other way around. If you want terrible customer service come on down!

Love the food. I have had the Mann Burger (best I have ever had and I am not even a huge burger fan), chorizo hash, root vegetable hash, corned beef hash, clam chowder (fresh new twist on an old favorite), french toast and other soups. I have enjoyed all I have ever gotten. The bacon side is a bit over-priced, but the taste is excellent. The wait staff is friendly and getting into the groove of a new restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

highland cafe. fish fry last night and all three of us loved. we get most Fridays fishries. very impressed. from the neighbours, how good it was, so decided to try. service was great and will be back very soon. we want to try, brunch and burgers both heard fantastic. to house also baked. I had anointed a few years ago. they simply found out that they expanded along with the menu. love it.

we often go to breakfast/breakfast. we always enjoy the atmosphere and eat. the personal is super! they are always beautiful and attentive. definitiw give this a restaurant a try that would like to hang next time in a comfortable place with good eating.
