Very disturbing. We were long time visitors in Hiways pre Covid and thought we were back. If he had guessed that it was different, the girls who answered my call to book a table didn't want to ask when we were there. When we... our reservation was not noticed, but when the venue was 95% empty we sat. Then along the menu curve, very limited compared to previous visits, and as we seniors were very surprised to see no senior options. The price-performance ratio on meals was not great as you would get in a local pub for about 1/3 less cost. Probably not again. Very disappointing.
The foods took 90mins to get out, although Bistro was calm when food discovered chicken was raw and steak was over boiled. We said we could make you another meal, but it'll take longer. Then a child broke over the entire game area, the staff came to clean it, whisky the children ran through vomiting, not even asked them to go. I understand if companies are under personnel, but 1. Let the cartridges know about the problems and waiting times 2. Do not let your quality of food go as the waiting times
Highways Hotel is very disappointing that you have removed the senior decisions from your menu. What? We have not always chosen a senior meal, but the choice has now gone! Their meals were always of a high standard, with a fabulous...variant. It is from us that the senior meals are no longer available.
If you go for the Pokies, it is better than average if you go for a meal, I would suggest going somewhere else to go the food that I had under usual nothing was good pasta overcooked and the spring rolls not delicious.. The decoration... in the bar and the service were good.
