Higo Pico Italian - Reservar mesa

During our visit in Alicante, we decided to try an italian style restaurant here. Led by a recommendation of a local friend, we did visit this place. We were the only party when arriving, but the owner gave us a warm welcome and some nice recommendations. Whatever did we expect here in regard to taste, presentation and selection, it has surpassed our expectations easily. The bread they served as opener, together with the garlic shrimps were outstanding. The main course we had asked for, pasta, Salat, Pizza and fish were without any doubt, awesome, yes very very good. If you are in the mood, for great italian food, this is the place to go. Highly recommend that Restaurant.

Excellent food! A hidden jewel that lets you eat Italian treats as tapas! Excellent service that answers every question. Reservations seem to be a must at weekends as tables are limited. But we were lucky and got one of the few who were not already reserved. Excellent location when you drink and party later in the pubs. Had a great Menú for the afternoon when you are looking for a deal, about 10€ for and appetizer, entree and a drink (alcohol included as your drink when you decide to participateake). Excellent place for a common meal and pasta. Definitely back.

High expectations from reviews. Daughter's birthday celebration (unacknowledged by waiter). Her tagliatelle was undercooked my parmigiano aubergine red was not microwaved for long enough. Hot in middle cold on outside. It tasted fine though. Empty on a Saturday night so no ambiance Disappointed...

A different bijou Italian restaurant that is worth finding. Run by husband and wife team Adriano (chef) and Maria (front of house). Welcoming and very different menu with daily additions. Not your typical impersonal restaurant, well worth the 5 star reviews. Check it out. Reserve uma mesa agora

The food is so good that we visited this place 3 days in a row. Her aperol splash and lasagna are the most beautiful I've ever had. Everything is also very affordable. The owners are very friendly and made our culinary experience amazing.

Lovely cosy restaurant in the Old Town well worth a visit or two! Husband and wife team. Food freshly prepared and cooked to order and beautiful homemade desserts too! Service with a smile adds to the ambience of this Italian Gem!

A cozy restaurant only 100 meters from the most crowdy parts of old town which gives you unforgettable meal time with a local or italian wines. Nice stuff. Nice food. Reasonable prices. What can you expect more....

Lovely little place. We ordered a couple of tapas dishes at lunchtime. Everything was delicious, the waiter recommended a lovely wine to pair with the food.
