Hilton Garden Inn Virginia Beach Town Center In Virg

The overall appearance and cleanliness of the hotel was great. Lobby is amazing, pool was great. Hot tub was broken. Our past experiences with the Hilton name on them have been good; this one not so much. For starters, the room key did not work on the second trip up to the 6th floor with all the bags and family. Ok no big deal, easy to fix, we can get it rescanned. Ill just stay here in the hallway with the kiddos while the wiffy runs back down…with all the bags, in the way, in the room just off the elevator, the oddly designed outdated handicap room they put me in….when we could get in. Every trip back to the room was a trip back to the lobby, an elevator wait, standing awkwardly in the way...

The location is great. The rest is horrific and very disappointing. Never again. Dog poop brown stains and sticky gum on the carpet, gouges in the dirty walls. Less than stellar beds. Jacuzzi broken for over a week and it was obvious the owner had no real intention of fixing it anytime soon. Then we find out that breakfast is NOT included, but their buffet is $16.50!! So many good restaurants around, no way was I going to eat here on the cheap tables with average buffet food. The kicker was we asked for a room close to the elevator- and the place was a ghost-town with hardly any guests. Our room was 727 and there are only two rooms farther from the elevator in the entire hotel. This place sh...

Always my number one choice when I’m in Virginia Beach. The housekeeping staff and front desk staff are always friendly. The location is close to a lot of restaurants in the town center area and easy access to the interstate to get to the oceanfront
