This place is really off the besten path. A beautiful typical local farmhouse boasting several dining rooms. The menu is traditional yet creative. I had the goat stew which was superbly tender. We also had the veal steak equally well cooked. Some of the sides were maybe questionably traditional but always well prepared. Service was ok. The lady of the house supervising everything. Our waitress spilled consistently water and wine while serving. Maybe it was her first day. Very ecclectic wine list. Prices are on the upper side of comparable places. We were staying for a Christmas dinner with my family: 12 people and a toddler. The housing is traditionally wooden, well-maintained, lots of positive character everywhere: furniture, atmosphere and rural. The service is splendid! You are well-taken care of at this location. The food is absolutely delicious and the prices are exactly worth the price, not overpriced. The whole staff also from the kitchen came and flipped off the covers, which were onto the plates to keep it warm, at the exact right time, lovely little show. I can only recommend it!
Hello. It was really sympatical even dro french or english speaking. They make nice efort to understand us. They were very friendly. And we were profesionnely served by older or younger waitress. All professional. We take some menu of the day. It was fresh and good and home made. Nice place to have a stop. We take the last table. It was full full. In a little town...completely lost...now we know the reasons. Tripadvisor personnes you have to go there. Simple, sympatical, profesional, good price, and good food. I will come back there.
We were invited by local business partners to this great place! And we enjoyed an extraordinary lunch in the beer garden! (Although drinking wine... Switzerland has great chefs, restaurants, but no tourists would go for such place if they don’t get the right tips... It is really a hidden diamond, standing long time for great cooking and hospitality. I keep the address in my book, when coming again to this area...
