Hitching Post - Reservar uma mesa

Sadly, we were treated poorly on our recent visit to the Hitching Post. We received our drinks as soon as we were seated, but then we waited an hour to get any attention at all. When one of our party walked to the front and asked if we could get a server, he was told yes, just a minute. Twenty minutes later, we decided to leave. Here's where the restaurant had an opportunity to save this bad situation, but it went from bad to worse. He told the woman at the counter that we were leaving and we would pay for our one order of drinks served an hour and a half ago. She actually charged us $11+ and said our waitress had a big table in the back. OMG!! You could have at least saved a little customer...

Stopped in on our way to the beach for some sunset metal detecting. Deeeeeeelish! I'm a life ling RI resident but for some reason, I've never been here until today. We got a dozen clamcakes because many places sell tiny, poor excuses for clamcakes. These things were monsters!!! And they were cooked perfectly. So yummy. Of course, we needed 2 bowls of chowder to go with it all. Nothing like dipping a delicious clamcake in delicious chowder. The chowder was so good. Bravo! We'll be back. But for now....so full!

This was a perfect summer atmosphere! Little stand off the side of the main road but had a beautiful backyard with Cornhole and picnic tables. Had some great lobster rolls and clam chowder! Also first timer for the clam cakes. Everything was a good price and got a lot for your money. Would love to go back to try some more.

We had a great time! 6 of us went, we got two lobster rolls, two chicken tenders, fish and chips, as well as a crab cake sandwich and 3 clam chowders. We were all happy with the food and it was well priced! We got ice cream after and it was great. They have a card for lobster rolls as well buy 6 get the 7th free

Decided to stop by and grab clam cakes n chowda for the beach. It was bussin go get yourself some. Yum!
