Hochwälder Braugasthaus Erlebnisbrauerei

Today we made a small trip to the north of Saarland in a rainy but dry weather, to Losheim an See, although our destination was Lake Bostal. That's it. Actually, we really wanted to feel comfortable in the Hochwälder Wohlfühlhotel with coffee and cake; it wasn't. Ms. Nahles, the SPD-Heroine, would have given Bätschi or another bullshit by itself in its inimitable way. The hotel has no own café and the restaurant opens after the very friendly lady at the reception only for large groups; a large group we were not best. We eat more often the Melzersalat and are quite satisfied with it. This time we decided on the Saarland speciality filled, potato dumps with sour wort. The plate of my accompaniment was very good. The lumps tender and fluffy, the sour wort tasty and sufficient, as well as the sauce. My clubs were probably hopped out of the broth a little too early, so they were still semi-crude and hard, and they also probably only have a small track of sour wort as a companion. Even hunger has not been able to inspire the full consumption of the dish. Some went back. The sauce was delicious and more than abundant. The next time, hopefully, not only is the view, but also the lunch.

Price/performance was very good. The food tasted great. The staff was very nice, even partly funny.
